Ever wondered wat India is shaping into??

Hi m back …
Ever wondered wat India is shaping into??
People say that we r one of the fastest growing nations in the world…but in wat is the real question…
I feel that development has not been translated into the upliftment of the lower class…infact the more we retrospect India, the more we come to realize the yawnin’ gap between the affluent and the poor sections of our society…true India has seen considerable development but at the end of the day the poor still hav to get up early in the morning at 5 am n form long queues to get ADULTERED rice from ration shops.

Ppl say that r strength is that we r united even though we hav many cultures in our country…. “Though we may speak different languages and follow different religions our heart beats the same”…nice to hear isn’t it? but in reality there is discrimination in almost everything…Hindus r considered timid and shrewd, Christians r seen as converters n all bearded Muslims r feared as terrorists…
This is wat is happening in our country…theres no point tryin’ to present a rosy picture…

I hav never been a true follower of Gandhi’s morals n principles, but now I hav come to realize the real meanin’ when he said “mass production is not a sign of development but production by the masses is the real sign of development”…
Wat kind of development can v hope 4 when 25%of our country’s population remains unemployed…
The government says that India is a rapidly growing nation …yes India is rapidly growin’ in the people affected by AIDS.
But now, it is with gr8 relief, that I say that ppl r takin’ efforts to curb the spread of AIDS…even famous foreign figures like Bill Clinton n Richard Gere hav com to India to spread awareness abt AIDS
So 4 the people affected with AIDS lack of a clear solution, no longer means a lack of hope…

but still HOW MANY OF US KNOW TODAYZ WORLD AIDS DAY...

The big talk of today -Talibanisation of Indian Muslims - a reality or not??

Talibanisation of Indian Muslims is definitely not a reality. The Afghans might have succumbed to the talibans but not the Indians. Even though we might speak different languages and follow different traditions our hearts beat the same…we all have respect for the life of fellow humans, we do not stoop so low that we must terrorize people for our gains…

I must remind u that no other country has a better moral value system …
When was the last time Indians were involved in terrorist activities….Indian Muslims r not involved in terrorist activities because of one simple reason… India has a gr8 value system, a value system like no other… It is grave misconceptions that people feel that all Muslims r under the influence of terrorist groups…
If it were so we never would have got a president like APJ Abdul Kalam…
Taliban symbolizes violence which in itself contradicts the views of not only Indian muslims but Indians in general…
Terrorists r usually religious fanatics…people who place their religion over every thing else, even their own life…Indian Muslims follow Islam that but that not mean that Indian Muslims r fanatics…
Hatz off to India 4 not becoming a breeding ground 4 terrorists…
Indian Muslims with gr8 moral values and with the ideals of non violence and peace, will not succumb to talibanism………..”

Yeah right …no problem with a wide yawn!! It really goes awn and awn and awn….
Can u ever get a fleckin’ borin’ topic like this one 4 a debate…..
This is was my preparation ….. n of course there is no harm yawning while readin’ this coz thatz jus how I felt when I wrote it….
N wot the heck after all the trouble i took to get compile this piece of crap..the teacher incharge asked asked me to speak « for » the damn topic….damn him!!!

The candles have faded, but has the cause???

This day manjunath shanmugam,an IIM graduate was brutally murdered by the petrol bunk mafias when he ordered the shut down of a petrol bunk in UP as he found traces of adulteration in petrol…
One of the cream of people who have got into the IIM, manjunath stood up for what was right….but then he ended up another victim of the mafia..
Here is a story of an ordinary person with an extraordinary value system who stood for justice.
In his youth, when most people with an IIM degree would look to go places far and wide, manjunath chose to serve his country and stop adulteration…
Here was a boy who was willing to get his hands dirty, willing to do the dirty work…so that the common man would not be affected…
But then, the Indian judicial system has being found wonting once again…with over a year passing without the final verdict being out…the friends and family, shall we say ,see a light at the end of the tunnel but it is that of an oncoming train..
No amount of compensation can fill the heart of a mother shedding tears for the death of her child
the future of our country is in our hands and manjunath has shown us the way...
But let us hope that manjunath’s death is not in vain…..
Let us hope that there are more manjunaths who come forward bravely to uphold what is right….
His life though a short one...was inspiring and his life will be etched in our memory 4 ever...
